Golfing at Diamond Caverns

I know that we took it easy at Mammoth Cave and at the Corvette Museum due to Phil’s injured foot.  Miraculously,  it healed enough to check out the golf course a mile from the park for 18 holes!  I rode along in the cart for the scenery.    There were a few wildlife around.  I spotted

these wild turkeys and got as close as I could to take a picture.  They really didn’t care about me one way or another.  I think they consider the golf course their grazing land.

Phil hasn’t played much golf with all that we have had going on and he did very well.  Of course he beats himself up on the shots that weren’t perfect or the loss of golf balls in the forests and water.  I was impressed and I enjoyed the ride around,

It’s the first time that we stayed where a golf course was included as part of the RV Park.
