Cochiti Lake Campground

The lake is a Corps of Engineering facility on the Cochiti Reservation. Our site with the Senior Pass discount was $10 a night for electric and water, there is a dump station nearby.

We found the camp quiet during the week. We were told that week-ends are booked solid. It has a boat dock, swim area and lots of campsites with various utilities. We chose a site with water and electric but did not hook up the water for the size of the campsite. The electric only sites were narrow for larger rigs with slides.

We were within 5 miles of the Tent Rocks and 23 miles from Santa Fe. Close by was a golf course, a couple of small towns or villages on the reservation, some were really classy and obviously expensive.

We will continue to stop here if we are in the area again.
