Santa Rosa Campground Review

We spent the Labor Day week-end here after leaving Post, Texas. By contrast this park is a good-sized park with various amenities: free wi-fi, swimming pool, ranges of hook-ups, laundry facility, gift shop, and a restaurant that will actually deliver dinners to your trailer. One can dine in or be catered!
Its’ website list an Escapees discount but once here, we learned that they only accept Good Sam’s discount cards. I don’t know why they discontinued the Escapees discount.
The staff was helpful and took good care of us and other campers. They do a good job in keeping the site and facility clean and tidy. This was the nicest commercial RV Park in the area in our opinion.
It is an attractive park with clean spaces. The utilities are shared, the RVs are parked head to toe which allows a door/patio view not to be facing sewer lines. The views are of the New Mexico northern landscapes and very pretty at sundown. It was a quiet park for us and we enjoyed our stay.
There are several historic and geological local sites to see as well as the Route 66 car museum.
We would have enjoyed it more if it had not cost $36 a night with the discount. However, considering what we got for our money, we would return again.
